Therapy for Motherhood
Motherhood carries deep joy and immense pressure. The mental load, emotional labor, shifting identity, and constant responsibility can feel invisible to everyone but you.
Here, you’re invited to explore the challenges of motherhood in a safe, non-judgmental space. Together, we build practical tools for self-regulation, boundary-setting, and honest communication, so you can navigate the invisible load with more confidence and ease.
While I’m not a parent, I deeply understand the complexities of parenting and family systems through both personal experience and professional work. My role is to help you reconnect with what you need to feel supported and resourced.
Motherhood can shift your identity, but it doesn’t need to define all of it. Here, we support you in reclaiming your needs, your voice, and your sense of self. Together, we help you stay connected to yourself, so you’re not giving more than you have.
FAQs
-
Yes. This work supports your nervous system, helping you release tension and regulate emotions. Whether you’re dealing with daily stress, anxiety, frustration, or the shifts that come with postpartum life, the focus is on gently restoring balance and presence, rather than “fixing” you. Over time, many parents notice more ease, clarity, and resilience.
-
Every body responds differently. Some people notice small shifts after a single session, while deeper change often develops gradually over months. The work is about creating sustainable skills for self-regulation, so even subtle changes build over time into lasting relief.
-
Absolutely. Many mothers carry guilt, shame, or pressure around parenting, identity, and self-care. This is a normal part of the experience and this is a safe space to acknowledge and release those feelings without judgment. Feeling these emotions doesn’t mean you’re failing; it’s a sign your body and mind are ready to process and heal.
-
No. Your experiences and choices are taken seriously, without judgment or minimizing. The space is designed for listening, reflection, and support, not advice or evaluation. Your challenges are valid, and your growth is honored.
-
Feeling overwhelmed is exactly why this work can be helpful. Sessions are paced to meet you where you are, focusing on small, manageable steps and body-based tools that you can integrate into your daily life. Even if you can’t make large blocks of time for self-care, this approach meets you with support and flexibility, helping you reclaim energy, presence, and connection over time.
