  • Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Depending on needs and availability, 60-minute or 75-minute sessions may also be offered for relationship work (more than one person).

  • Every session is different but they’re always gentle, guided, and collaborative. We begin by checking in with what’s present for you, then we explore. We try to move through all the different channels of experience in the body and mind to help you expand your awareness and move beyond just thoughts. There's no pressure to perform or “get it right” — we follow your pace and your body’s cues.

  • That’s completely okay. No prior experience is needed. This work is experiential, we’ll go at your own pace and take things slow, step by step. Many clients new to therapy find that working with me is accessible, grounding, and respectful of their autonomy.

  • Finding the right therapist is an important step in your journey, as therapy is a personal and sacred space. Take some time to reflect on why you’re seeking support and what qualities or skills feel most important to you. It can also be helpful to meet with a few therapists for initial consultations, so you can find someone who truly feels like the right fit. Choosing a therapist is a lot like choosing a pair of shoes—you want one that feels comfortable, supportive, and just right for you.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through my contact form or email me at therapywithmeryl@gmail.com—I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • You can reach me anytime via my contact form or email: therapywithmeryl@gmail.com. I aim to respond quickly—usually within one to two business day.

  • Good Faith Estimate is required under the No Surprises Act for uninsured or self-pay clients. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before your first session. For questions, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.

Let’s begin.

The first step to starting therapy is a free initial consultation call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we might be a good fit. During that call, I can also answer any questions you have about therapy.

Complete this form and I will reach out to you via email in approximately two business days. You can also email me at therapywithmeryl@gmail.com.
