Somatic Therapy for Trauma

Whether from a single distressing event or prolonged periods of stress, trauma can linger long after the experience has passed, shaping how you feel, think, and move through the world.

Guided by my ongoing Somatic Experiencing® training, we work with your body’s innate intelligence to help you feel safe, present, and connected to your emotions, needs, and relationships again. Somatic Experiencing® supports your nervous system in completing the trauma response cycle — the instinctive reactions your body wasn’t able to fully process at the time — allowing trapped energy and tension to release naturally. By slowing down, listening, and trusting your body, old stress and trauma can gently unwind, creating space for deep, transformative change.

This work also equips you with practical tools to manage fear, sadness, and anger, and to recognize patterns that no longer serve you — so you can move forward with greater ease, resilience, and self-understanding.
